Keeping the clinical team and the patient focused on their goals for optimal outcomes is the priority at Kindred Hospital. Physician Grand Rounds promotes communication and constant clinical review of the patient’s progress. Our physicians are available at specified times each week to round with the team at the bedside and discuss the treatment plan and progress with the patient and family.
Nursing
Nursing services are provided around the clock to meet each patient’s unique needs. Through the Department of Nursing, care plans are created in conjunction with physicians, therapists and specialists in other disciplines. Team nursing is utilized as the patient care delivery model, with a team of nurses caring for an assigned group of patients, who increases the patient interaction and time spent with each patient. All nursing staff are BLS certified, telemetry trained, and all registered nurses are ACLS certified.
Respiratory Therapists
Under the direction of the medical staff, our team of respiratory therapists evaluates, treats and manages patients with cardiopulmonary problems.
